Tasting profile

Structure: full-bodied, high tannin, medium acidity, dry

One of the original "garagiste" wines of Saint-Émilion, founded by Jean-Luc Thunevin and now a Premier Grand Cru Classé. A rich, Merlot-led blend with Cabernet Franc and a little Cabernet Sauvignon, it shows dense black cherry and blackberry fruit with espresso, cocoa and cedar from generous new oak. Concentrated and opulent in style, with firm, ripe tannins that need years in bottle to settle.

Serving: Serve at 16–18 °C.
