B by Fonbadet is the Bordeaux AOC red of Château Fonbadet, the Peyronie family's small Pauillac estate. It is made from the family's vineyards outside the Pauillac appellation and aged about six months in French oak, with Michel Rolland consulting. The blend of Merlot and the two Cabernets varies by vintage. A juicy, well-built claret with blackcurrant, plum and black cherry, a cedar and graphite edge and soft tannins, made to drink young. The 2019 won a Platinum medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards.
