Côtes de Provence is the archetype of dry rosé and the style that set the template for the category worldwide — very pale, bone dry, and made by pressing red grapes off their skins within hours rather than by blending. Cinsault leads here with Grenache and Syrah, unoaked. Expect a pale, bright pink with grapefruit and lime on the nose, raspberry and red cherry beneath, and a crisp saline finish with more citrus bite than a warmer style gives. Note that Château Gigery also bottle a separate cuvée under NOTRE DAME DES ANGES, one of the five named terroir denominations within Côtes de Provence — a higher-altitude zone recognised in 2019 — which is a different and more specific wine from this base bottling.
