Tasting profile

Structure: full-bodied, low tannin, medium acidity, dry

Château de la Gardine's top white Châteauneuf-du-Pape, about 90% old-vine Roussanne (vines over 60 years) with a little Clairette. The Roussanne is fermented and aged in oak with lees stirring, and malolactic fermentation is blocked to keep it fresh. A rich, oak-framed white with ripe orchard and stone fruit, honey, white flowers and toasted notes, moving towards nutty, honeyed complexity with age.

Serving: Serve at 10–12 °C.
