Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, low tannin, high acidity, dry

Phenomaynal comes from the Maynal parcel that Mathieu Allante and Christian Boulanger took over from Jean-François Ganevat, one of the southern Jura's most celebrated terroirs; the cuvée is white or red depending on the year, and this one is Chardonnay. Long-aged in old barrels, with lemon, yellow apple and hazelnut over a chalky, saline spine and white-flower lift.
