Tasting profile
Structure: medium-bodied, medium tannin, medium acidity, dry
Yeringberg's Shiraz comes from the de Pury family's historic estate at Coldstream in the Yarra Valley, where vines were first planted in the 1860s. It is a cool-climate Shiraz, medium-bodied and elegant: black cherry and plum with white pepper, violet and spice, fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity. Like the estate's other reds it is built for the cellar, developing savoury complexity over fifteen years or more.
Serving: Serve at 15–17 °C.
