Tasting profile

Structure: light-bodied, low tannin, high acidity, dry

Yann Bertrand's Lantignié is 100% Gamay from about a hectare of vines on deep granite at around 500 metres in Lantignié, made with natural methods: semi-carbonic fermentation, then about eight months in mostly neutral barrels with some steel. Pale and lifted rather than plump: red cherry, raspberry and pomegranate with peony and white pepper, real tension and a vinous, mineral finish.

Serving: Serve at 13–15 °C.
