Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, low tannin, high acidity, dry

Reichsrat von Buhl's Suez is a vintage Riesling Sekt brut nature from the Pfalz, bottle-fermented and aged for many years on its lees before disgorgement with no added dosage. It is bone-dry and racy, with yellow fruit and citrus over brioche and nutty autolytic notes, a fine creamy mousse and a long, mineral finish. The name recalls the von Buhl sparkling wine poured at the opening of the Suez Canal in 1869.
