Tasting profile

Structure: light-bodied, high acidity, dry

A second Riesling from a Murrumbateman estate where the variety is something of a family inheritance — Stephanie Helm grew up at her father's neighbouring winery, which has made the Canberra District's benchmark Rieslings since 1973. The district's altitude and cold nights give a piercing acid line while the fruit ripens fully. Lime and green apple with white flowers, lemon zest and a chalky mineral finish. Light-bodied, unoaked and bone dry, made in small batches with minimal intervention. Vivid young and long-lived on that acidity.
