Tasting profile
Structure: full-bodied, low tannin, high acidity, sweet
Or Pailleur is the sweet (moelleux) Jurançon of Simon Forgue's Vignobles de Pyrenaïa, made from late-picked Petit Manseng raisined on the vine and raised in cask, in lots of under 3,000 bottles. It is golden, with exotic fruit, cooked yellow fruit, citrus and beeswax, full and rich on the palate but kept balanced by Petit Manseng's fine, lively acidity, so the sweetness never turns heavy.
