Tasting profile
Structure: medium-bodied, low tannin, high acidity, dry
Sauska's Kadarka is a light, elegant Villány red from Hungary's historic Kadarka grape. It is grown on loess, limestone and red clay, macerated long, and finished in a mix of stainless steel and small French oak. It is pale ruby, with raspberry, redcurrant and sour cherry lifted by a cinnamon-and-paprika spice, very fine tannins and fresh acidity. Kadarka is made for its perfume rather than its power, and is best served slightly cool.
