YOLO Assemblage Rouge Appassionato

Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, low tannin, medium acidity, off-dry

YOLO Appassionato is Obrist's crowd-pleasing Swiss red blend from Vevey, made from Gamaret, Gamay and Garanoir, partly from dried grapes in an appassimento-style method. Soft and round at about 12.5% alcohol, with a touch of sweetness: ripe black fruit and plum with a dried-fruit richness and a toasty, spicy finish, with gentle tannins. An easy everyday red to drink within its first few years.
