Tasting profile
Structure: full-bodied, low tannin, medium acidity, dry
Miner's white counterpart to The Oracle: a Rhône-style blend from Napa fruit, in 2022 led by Grenache Blanc (60%) with Roussanne (34%) and a touch of Viognier (earlier vintages used Marsanne in place of Grenache Blanc). Almost entirely barrel-fermented and aged six months in about 30% new French oak, it is rich and textured, with honeysuckle, acacia and apricot over citrus, a sandalwood and herb edge, and juicy acidity that carries a mineral finish. Think of a generous oaked white without the butter, best drunk within its first few years.

Where it comes from
Napa Valley, United States
Napa Valley is a compact, sun-warmed valley in northern California, an hour or so above San Francisco, and it is the name that turned American wine into a serious global player.
Grenache Blanc
Grenache Blanc is a white grape, the pale-berried cousin of red Grenache, with roots in northern Spain, where it goes by Garnacha Blanca.
Roussanne
Roussanne is a white grape from France's northern Rhône, often partnered with Marsanne to make some of the region's most distinguished whites.
Viognier
Viognier is a white grape from the northern Rhône Valley in France, long the signature of the tiny appellation Condrieu and a variety that came close to disappearing before a revival spread it far beyond its Rhône home.
