Ficheto

Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, medium acidity, dry

Ficheto is a white Puglia IGP from Masseria Borgo dei Trulli in Salento, a blend of roughly equal parts Fiano, Malvasia and Sauvignon Blanc, with part of the wine aged a few months in new French barriques. Tropical fruit, lime zest and green apple meet fresh herbs and a flinty, mineral edge, with a light creamy touch from the oak. Fresh and generous, it is best in its first few years.

Serving: Serve at 10–12 °C.
