Board Track Racer is Mark Ryan Winery's second label, built to drink well on release. This Columbia Valley Malbec is rounded out with a little Merlot and Petit Verdot (22% and 3% in 2019), much of the fruit from Stanton Vineyard. Expect ripe plum and dark berries, violet, and coffee and chocolate from the oak, on a plush, soft-tannined palate. It's made for drinking young rather than for long ageing.
