Tasting profile
Structure: medium-bodied, medium tannin, high acidity, dry
A Pinot Noir from the Chehalem Mountains, one of the cooler, higher sub-appellations of the Willamette Valley, where volcanic and marine-sediment soils give wines of red-fruited lift rather than dark, plush weight. Expect cherry and raspberry at the core with cranberry tartness at the edges, and a savoury forest-floor and dried-herb undertow beneath. Medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins and bright acidity that keeps it fresh and firmly at home on the table.
