Carrelot des Amants is the best-known red of Les Vignerons du Brulhois, the cooperative at Donzac in the small AOC Brulhois between Agen and Moissac. Cassis and cherry with liquorice and a touch of cocoa, on firm but rounded Tannat tannins. An everyday south-western red, best within about four years of the vintage.
