Tasting profile
Structure: light-bodied, low tannin, high acidity, dry
Petit Royal is the traditional-method brut of Lambert de Seyssel, the Savoie house that revived the historic Royal Seyssel label, made from organically farmed Molette and Altesse (roughly 60/40). The base wine rests ten months on its lees and the bottles spend two years sur latte before release, with a brut dosage of about 7–8 g/L. Fine and alpine: green apple, lemon and white flowers with a touch of wildflower honey, toasted brioche and a mineral spine.
Serving: Serve at 6–8 °C.
