Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, high acidity, dry

Kruger-Rumpf's dry Grosses Gewächs from the Burgberg in Dorsheim, a steep site of under five hectares near Burg Layen on iron-rich loam with Taunus quartzite and slate, farmed organically with vines from the 1950s and 1960s. Deep and dusty, with white peach, lime and apple over a crushed-rock, smoky minerality; bone-dry with great tension and length.
