Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, medium acidity, off-dry

The classic Pinot Gris of the Cattin family estate in Voegtlinshoffen, on the clay-limestone slopes south of Colmar. Round and generous in the Alsace manner: yellow plum, ripe pear and red apple with a touch of honey, ginger spice and a faint smoky note, medium-bodied with soft acidity and a little residual sweetness to fill out the palate. A versatile everyday white for Alsatian food, pork and mushroom dishes, best in its first few years.
