Reserve Chardonnay

Tasting profile

Structure: full-bodied, medium acidity, dry

The Hafner family's estate-grown Reserve Chardonnay comes from their Alexander Valley vineyard just north of Healdsburg. It is fermented in new and one-year-old French oak, aged about 15 months on the lees with regular stirring, then rested in bottle before release. It opens with mango, orange blossom, Charentais melon and toasted brioche, and the palate is rich, supple and round, with pink grapefruit, poached pear and a creamy finish.
