Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, medium tannin, high acidity, dry

Georges Duboeuf's Morgon from the Côte du Py, the extinct volcanic hill of blue schist that is the most famous climat of Morgon, from vines around 55 years old aged in tank. The Côte du Py gives Gamay a firm, mineral edge: black cherry and raspberry with peony, iron and spice, juicy acidity and grippy tannins that soften after a couple of years.

Serving: Serve at 15–17 °C.
