The Red Mountain Merlot of Frichette, the Benton City winery of Shae and Greg Frichette, made from Red Mountain sites such as Quintessence and Scooteney Flats. Oak-aged and full-bodied, with dark and black cherry over cocoa, walnut, vanilla and baking spice. The tannins are soft and rounded, with the firmer grip Red Mountain gives Merlot.
