Tasting profile
Structure: full-bodied, high tannin, medium acidity, dry
Feudo Antico's Riserva from the small Tullum DOCG around Tollo, in the coastal hills of Abruzzo. It is 100% Montepulciano from old vines, aged first in cement and then for about a year in French barriques. Deep and dense, with black cherry and bramble fruit, tobacco, liquorice and a leathery, graphite edge over firm tannins. A structured red that needs a few years to soften and then holds well for a decade or more.
