Tasting profile
Structure: full-bodied, high tannin, medium acidity, dry
Mario Geisse's barrel selection from Marchigüe in western Colchagua: the nine most notable barrels of the vintage, chosen blind, blended from Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère and a little Petit Verdot. About 24 months in oak and a long rest in bottle before release give a full-bodied, dense red of cassis and black fruit with Carmenère's mint and herbal lift, coffee and cedar, on firm, ripe tannins. A small production (around 2,700 bottles).
