Tasting profile
Structure: medium-bodied, low tannin, medium acidity, dry
Château Maison Blanche's Grand Cru Chasselas comes from steep terraces at Yvorne in the Chablais, owned by the Schenk family since 1930, and is regularly counted among Switzerland's best Chasselas. Lime blossom, white peach and pear over a flinty, mineral core from the limestone scree, with a gentle texture and a toasted-almond finish. It gains depth and a smoky, honeyed note with a few years in bottle.
Serving: Serve at 9–11 °C.
