Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, high acidity, dry

Vinyes de Can Sala is a Cava de Paraje Calificado, the appellation's single-vineyard top tier, from the Can Sala estate at Sant Quintí de Mediona in the Alt Penedès. Xarel·lo and Parellada from vines over 75 years old at about 340 m are bottled with no dosage and aged more than ten years on the lees, in runs of about 6,000 bottles. The long ageing brings baked apple, toasted almond and brioche over lemon peel and a chalky, bone-dry finish. The 2015 took Platinum (97 points) at the 2025 Decanter World Wine Awards.

Serving: Serve at 6–8 °C.
