Tasting profile
Structure: medium-bodied, high acidity, dry
Turó d'en Mota is Recaredo's flagship: a single-vineyard sparkling wine from Xarel·lo vines planted in 1940 on a calcareous hillside in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, farmed biodynamically, fermented partly in oak and aged well over a decade on its lees under natural cork before hand disgorgement with no dosage. Bottled today under the Corpinnat name, it is bone-dry, vinous and deeply mineral: preserved lemon, pear and fennel with toasted almond and hazelnut, a fine, persistent mousse and a long, saline finish.
Serving: Serve at 6–8 °C.
