Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, medium tannin, medium acidity, dry

Graveyard Vineyard is Brokenwood's flagship and one of Australia's most celebrated Shirazes, from own-rooted vines on the Graveyard Vineyard at Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley. It is not made in poor years: no 2020 was released after bushfire smoke. Medium-bodied and fine-boned in the Hunter way, it shows red cherry, raspberry and plum over earth and spice, with fine, persistent tannins and great length. It needs years in bottle and ages for decades.
