Structure: medium-bodied, medium acidity, dry
The Pear Tree is Bellingham's entry-level Western Cape Chenin Blanc, named after the old pear tree at the Bellingham manor house, said to have been planted in 1710. Unoaked and fruit-forward, it shows tropical pineapple and honeydew melon on the nose, with orange blossom and stone fruit on a fresh, easy palate. A crowd-pleasing white made to drink young.
