Becker Vineyards' first single-varietal Petit Verdot, grown mostly at Tallent Vineyards in Mason County in the Texas Hill Country. It is about 87% Petit Verdot with a little Merlot, aged four years in barrel (30% new American oak, the rest neutral) before bottling in late 2025. The producer describes bold richness with plum, black cherry and lilac; expect firm, dark tannins and some oak spice. Built to improve for several years in bottle.
