Tasting profile

Structure: light-bodied, low tannin, high acidity, dry

Alex Foillard, son of Morgon's Jean Foillard, works in the Chauvet school of natural Beaujolais: organic farming, hand harvest, whole-bunch carbonic maceration with native yeasts, no fining or filtration and little or no sulphur. His Beaujolais-Villages comes from granite-soiled vines, whose source has shifted between vintages (Brouilly and Côte de Brouilly for the 2024), raised in concrete. Fresh and floral: raspberry, red cherry and cranberry with peony and pink pepper, a light, silky frame, fine tannins and bright acidity.

Serving: Serve at 13–15 °C.
