Gran Vos is Viñas del Vero's top Reserva from Somontano, in the Pyrenean foothills of Aragón. It is a selection of the vintage's best red grapes from four estate vineyards (La Torrecilla, Almunieta, San Marcos and Lazadiella), planted in the late 1990s at just over 400 m. The blend changes with the year at the winemaker's call and is usually led by Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. After oak ageing it shows ripe blackcurrant, black cherry and plum framed by cedar and vanilla, with firm but polished tannins and good freshness from the altitude.
