Rockford's Shiraz–Cabernet blend from grower vineyards across the Barossa, made traditionally at the winery's old basket presses in Krondorf. Barossa Shiraz gives generous blackberry and plum, and the Cabernet adds blackcurrant, a minty edge and firmer structure. The wine is full-bodied but not jammy, with savoury earth and spice and well-knit tannins. It drinks well a few years after release and comfortably holds for a decade.
