Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, low tannin, high acidity, dry

A varietal Merlot rosé from Luján de Cuyo — an unusual choice, since most Argentine rosé is Malbec, and Merlot gives something rounder and softer with less of Malbec's dark colour. Red cherry and strawberry with a touch of white peach and a savoury herbal edge, dry and medium-bodied with the brisk acidity Mendoza's altitude preserves even in a warm climate. More textural than a pale Provençal pink and better suited to the table than the aperitif hour. Serve cold and drink it young.
