Tasting profile
Structure: medium-bodied, high acidity, dry
Fleur de Savoie is Maison Philippe Grisard's barrel-raised Roussette de Savoie, made entirely from the local Altesse grape grown on limestone and hand-harvested, then fermented and aged about ten months in barrels of various ages with lees stirring. White flowers, white-fleshed fruit and a stony minerality are rounded by honey and a light vanilla touch from the wood, with Altesse's bright acidity keeping it fresh. A more ambitious Roussette that gains honeyed complexity over several years.
