Tasting profile

Structure: light-bodied, high acidity, dry

A rarity from Maison Philippe Grisard, who works to revive forgotten Alpine grape varieties: a dry white made entirely from Bia Blanc, an ancestral Savoie variety genetically linked to Mondeuse Blanche. Hand-harvested from a limestone hillside and raised eight months in tank, it is bottled as Vin de France since the variety sits outside the Savoie appellation rules. Light, refreshing and aromatic, with apple, citrus, white flowers and a mineral edge. A summery white to drink young.
