Tasting profile

Structure: full-bodied, low tannin, medium acidity, dry

Ars Magna is the top line of Ômina Romana, the Velletri estate in the Castelli Romani hills south of Rome, and this Chardonnay is aged about a year in French oak. Yellow apple, lemon and ripe exotic fruit with candied orange peel, broom blossom, vanilla and spice; full and Burgundian in feel, with enough freshness to carry the oak. It gains nutty, honeyed complexity over several years.

Serving: Serve at 10–12 °C.
