Structure: full-bodied, high tannin, medium acidity, dry

The Reserve Shiraz is Noon's flagship and the fullest statement of the house style — old Langhorne Creek vines, tiny yields, unfiltered, and no concession made to moderation. Enormously concentrated blackberry and dark plum with licorice, mocha, warm spice and dark chocolate. High in alcohol and thickly coating, but the tannin is fine rather than coarse, and that is what holds the whole thing in balance. Among the most age-worthy wines in the region, and it asks for a decanter and patience in equal measure.
