Red and dark cherry with a savoury, gently stemmy edge, forest floor and a hint of spice, medium-bodied with fine tannin and the bright acidity the region's sea breezes preserve. More structured and darker-fruited than the Yarra's version. Lovely from three or four years and comfortable for a decade.
