Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, medium tannin, high acidity, dry

47N, named for Burgundy's latitude, is a Bourgogne rouge from Pascal Marchand and Moray Tawse's négociant house, blended from Côte de Nuits sources including Marsannay with a portion of whole clusters. Deep, slightly inky and more intense than most regional Burgundy: black cherry and blackberry with violet, spice and an earthy note, firm-edged and fresh. A step up from entry level that benefits from a few years.

Serving: Serve at 15–17 °C.
