Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, low tannin, high acidity, dry

Lamoresca's Rosso is Filippo Rizzo's natural red from organic hillside vines near San Michele di Ganzaria in south-east Sicily, roughly equal parts Nero d'Avola and Frappato (some vintages with a little Grenache), fermented with native yeasts, unfiltered and made with little or no added sulphur. Red cherry, pomegranate and blood orange with dried herbs and white pepper, medium-bodied with soft tannins and juicy acidity. A vibrant, gulpable red, lovely slightly chilled.
