Tasting profile

Structure: full-bodied, medium acidity, dry

Kendall-Jackson's step up from the Vintner's Reserve: a 100% Chardonnay from the company's coastal Santa Barbara County vineyards in the Santa Maria and Los Alamos valleys, aged about nine months in French oak (roughly a quarter new). It is a generous, ripe California style, with lemon, melon and orchard fruit, toasted-nut and vanilla notes from the oak, and enough cool-coast freshness to keep it lively. Wine Enthusiast rated the 2022 at 92 points.
