Tasting profile

Structure: light-bodied, low tannin, high acidity, dry

The Bourgueil rosé of Domaine de la Chanteleuserie, Thierry Boucard's family estate at Benais founded in 1822, is pure Cabernet Franc from vines averaging around 35 years on siliceous clay. Crisp and savoury: strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant with blood orange, a leafy, herbal Cabernet Franc edge, a dash of white pepper and lively acidity. A rosé with real Loire character.
