Tasting profile
Structure: medium-bodied, medium tannin, medium acidity, dry
DavenLore is a small Prosser winery run by Joan Davenport, who helped write the Snipes Mountain AVA petition, with winemaker Gordon Taylor. Their Tempranillo comes from Upland Vineyards on Snipes Mountain and is made only in selected years. Blackberry and crème de cassis lead, with the savoury, leathery edge of the grape. Well balanced and food-friendly; the winemakers pair it with paella or pasta e fagioli.
Serving: Serve at 15–17 °C.
