Tasting profile
Structure: medium-bodied, medium tannin, medium acidity, dry
The top oak-aged red of Château La Robertie, an estate founded in 1736 and run by the Soulier family since 1998. A Côtes de Bergerac blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, aged about fourteen months in barrel. Round and supple, with red-berry and blackcurrant fruit over integrated oak and present but balanced tannins, finishing fruity and fresh. With age it gains cedar and leather notes in the Bordeaux manner.
