About 86% Tempranillo with Graciano and Mazuelo, fermented in steel, aged 24 months in French and American oak, then given several years in bottle before release. The fruit has turned to dried cherry and fig, led by leather, sweet tobacco, cedar and vanilla with a balsamic lift. Tannins are fine and resolved, acidity keeps the savoury finish lively, and nothing is heavy or extracted. It arrives ready to drink and asks for roast or cured meat.
