Tasting profile

Structure: full-bodied, low tannin, high acidity, sweet

A sweet Vouvray moelleux from 100% Chenin Blanc, from the hot, very ripe 2003 harvest, bottled as the cuvée "50" (Cinquante). Rich and honeyed, with quince, baked apple, apricot and candied citrus, turning to beeswax and dried fruit with age, the sweetness kept fresh by Chenin's naturally high acidity.

Serving: Serve at 8–10 °C.
