The house style favours a light hand and restrained oak, so the wines show more fruit purity and less winemaking than the Barossa average. Blackberry and dark plum with liquorice and savoury spice over ripe, fine-grained tannins, generous in the regional way but without the weight or sweetness that can come with it.
