This one is 100% Nebbiolo from the northern Barolo zone, including the Monvigliero vineyard in Verduno, aged about 26 months in a 500-litre barrel. Expect Nebbiolo's classic red cherry, rose and herbal notes with a tarry, spicy edge, firm tannin and high acidity. Give it time in bottle and serve it with rich Piedmontese food.
